Infonic sets HedgeSphere vision for the next 3 years

In a rapidly evolving industry, vendors in our opinion must be agile while still having a clear view on the future to be successful in the long run. Talking to our clients, prospects and industry participants in a wider context, Infonic has developed its market and HedgeSphere product plans based on the following targets:

Client Types: We have and continue to expand our market coverage from Asset Managers (originally purely multi-manager Hedge Funds) and Service Providers to Advisors and Institutional Asset Owners.

Asset Classes: We build on our extensive Asset Class coverage from hedge funds to the wider range of alternative assets including private equity to the full spectrum of unlisted funds and hedging instruments.

Business Process: We meet the end-to-end investment and operational needs of our clients,  providing support for the entire investment & cash lifecycle.

Market Integration: In the world of unlisted funds (including alternatives), where data communication can be proprietary and fragmented, we are reducing the risks and increasing efficiency by wiring HedgeSphere to the market for both instruction and reconciliation, with all the required workflow and controls.

Business Operating Model: We support a flexible operating model at our clients, ranging from full shadowing of their service providers to a "back-office light" model with exception-based checks and balances of provider-supplied data. While continuing to allow our clients to own their dealing database and aggregate across their providers.

User Experience: We complement the underlying core HedgeSphere engine for planning, dealing, settlement and reconciliation with a state-of-the-art workflow and exception based user experience on the web browser. This increases control whilst lowering cost of adoption and ownership.

Service Model: We support a range of service models. While we focus on our future as a software vendor, we have and continue to partner with other providers of service and technology to package our product in the most effective and most affordable way for our markets and clients.
